    First, a quick fact:
    Prong > every other band.

    Ever.

They are just that fucking good.

There was supposed to be an opening band "Damnaged" that went on at 8. I had almost a 3 hour drive so even with leaving work early and the always unpredicatble Seattle traffic, I was a few minute late. I got into the venue at 8:05 only to hear PRONG already playing. What the fuck?! After a few more minutes of clearances and shit (because I filmed the show. That's right \m/) I hit the floor as they were wrapping up Rude Awakening. Awesome. From that they launced into "Another Worldly Device".... the crowd was really into it. This town has been starving for PRONG since everyone heard they were back together and the enthusiasm was all there.

The band delivered the goods.... no way to deny it. I saw the *original* (victor, parsons, raven) line-up and this one was just as good if not better. It's got a slightly different vibe and you can tell they're all into it. The drummer is solid as fuck, and Tommy was doing his usual antics which was great!

I didn't get a chance to go backstage or anything, security was tight as hell so... I did manage to run into Tommy right after Danzig was done and chat for a few before he was swamped with adoring fans.

As for the other bands that played, Chimaira is just not my bag... Danzig rocked that fucking place in a major way..

Good to see Prong back! I might catch them in Portland tonight even though I'm tired as hell and am operating on 4 hours of sleep!

    Set (what I caught):

    • Rude Awakening
    • Another Worldly Device
    • Initiation
    • Whose Fist?
    • Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck

Your so right Prong was so tight and the drummer was one hell of a timekeeper.I think Prong opened up with Beg to Differ, the bass player was keeping the low end down as well very good band .How about the faces Victor, was making on stage quite funny.

    [snipped]

I didn't mind the long drive for 5 songs. I feel it was worth it. I would do it again in a second.

...and Tommy makes the best faces on stage!

As for the video, I'll be turning that over to PRONG and they can do what they wish with it. I got a lot of great shots and some really great footage, hopefully they'll put it on the site or something.

Yeah my only complaint was that the set was way too short! Other than that it was great!! We got to hang with Tommy for quite a while after the Danzig set. He's a very cool, down to earth, nice guy!

Oh yeah, Chimiara blew and Danzig was awesome as always!
